Flat Light Photo

This is an example of why not to shoot scenics when the sun is directly overhead. The rock looks flat even though the colors aren't too bad. The sky is terrific. Is this what artists call a cobalt sky? This is just the way the sky looked right out of the camera, no processing at all.
