Walking The Beach

As we walked along the beach this tall ship followed us.

Today I walked on the beach with a couple of friends. The beach is quite rocky. I'll check back in a couple of months to see if nature replenishes the beach for summer.

Flat Light Photo

This is an example of why not to shoot scenics when the sun is directly overhead. The rock looks flat even though the colors aren't too bad. The sky is terrific. Is this what artists call a cobalt sky? This is just the way the sky looked right out of the camera, no processing at all.

Located near Death Valley in Death Valley Junction, CA. is the Amargosa Opera House. I've never been to a performance but perhaps someday I will.
