Central Valley Weekend

I spent the weekend in the Central Valley.  Had a wonderful time.  My grandchildren are growing up so fast.  It was very nice to see everyone.

Bunny Trail

I was out early this morning running errands and grocery shopping.  Upon my return I found this surprise gift left on my porch by what I assume to be a bunny.  As always click on image for a larger view.

Tide Pool Man

It was low tide so we decided to go explore the tide pools.  The beach below the Ritz-Carleton was almost deserted.  A big change from the mobs of people found here in the summer.

Gravelin Gertie

My Dad was in the China-Burma-India theater during WWII.  He helped build the Ledo road in India among other projects while there.  The vehicle in the picture has the name Gravelin Gertie painted on the door.  We have he and his generation to thank for our freedoms and way of life we have today.

Beach Fun

Without these photos I'd have forgotten how much I enjoyed going to Sunset Beach with my Grandmother when I was a child.  This would have been circa 1950 or so.

Warm Summer-Like Night

Tuesday night was warm and and with a mid-summer temperature and blossom-scented fragrances.
