Home after the Holidays. . .

I went north for five days over the Christmas holiday.  I had a wonderful time.  This is a gingerbread man I made while joining my grand daughters in decorating fun.

Calm Day in Ventura

After the rain I made my way south toward home.  Stopping in Ventura to check out the action at the harbor.  The action was fairly light.

This morning while leaving the place I spotted this newly blossomed flower.  Winter is just around the corner.  The Camillas are right on time.

The Storm Has Passed

We had a wild weekend of rain, wind and sub 50 degree weather.  All that is but a faint memory and blue skies and puffy white clouds have returned to our spot on the globe.

Duck & Turtles

We Managed to make it to the pond today. The Ducks and Turtles were quite active.

California in for Wet Winter

According to the NOAA Climatologists most of California is going to have a wetter than normal November, December, and January.

Halloween 2009

I visited my Grandson and his family for Halloween. Had a great time. His costume was original and very good I think. Here he is. . . Teen Wolf. He and his Mom carved the pumpkins pictured below. Beautiful job!

Birthday Party

One of my Sons-In-Law had his 40th birthday party this past weekend. Fun time was had by all. Today is his Birthday. Happy Birthday John!
