Slow Progress
My DSL connection is not performing like I thought it would. I guess I need to get a new Modem/Router to improve my speed. I don't look forward to calling ATT tech support.

Easter Vacation in AZ
By airplane and automobile we all converged on Arizona for Easter Vacation. Our hosts were terrific as usual and we all had a wonderful time. We visited with an Aunt & Uncle, and many many cousins. We also toured a late 1800's mining operation, rode horses in a private rodeo arena, went to the Phoenix Zoo, shopped at World Wide Sportsman, swam, took lots of pictures and ate everything in sight. In short we had a GREAT time. Thanks to all of our VERY generous hosts.

Emily's 5th Birthday Party
This weekend we celebrated Emily's 5th Birthday with an Ice Cream Party. There were fun and games galore and abundant food and Ice Cream for all. Everybody had a wonderful time. A clown pinata was in attendance and is pictured here along with the birthday girl blowing out the candles on her cake. Sincere thanks to Emily's Mom and Dad for a very memorable time.

ATT Finally Upgrades my line
After 7 years of s l o w 768 Kb/ps ATT upgraded me to Fiber Optic Cable. We'll see how that goes. Here is my new speed according to DSLreports:
Not as fast as they said it would be. I'm still using my old modem. Maybe after I replace it the speeds will be higher. I'll post the test again if that's the case.

Maddy's 3rd Birthday
Maddy turned 3 with a big celebration. There was a bounce house, a pinata, a beautiful birthday cake, and her friends and family. The party was a huge success. She is a very lucky little girl to have such nice parents.

Pod
Yesterday I noticed a pod hanging from a palm tree just below my place. Using my trusty 70-200mm lens I fired off a few shots at it. Later when reviewing the pictures on the computer I noticed I also caught a couple of bees in the act of gathering nectar? I thought it was nice of them to add color, texture and nature interest to my photo.
