My Beautiful GrandDaughters came by for a visit today. We spent some time at the local park. They love to run free and play. It's one of their favorite things to do and it shows in their faces. I had a great time too!

Happy Seventy-Fifth Anniversary
To The 1932 Ford

Made our annual trip to this fine event. Breakfast first, (flapjacks, bacon, cottage fries, eggs, and biscuits) then a tour of the parking lot to see a sample of every Ford made in the last 90 years or so. One guy was already having a cigar break when we got to his car. Great time. And the price was right.

Clovis Big Hat Days

I spent a great weekend in Clovis. It was a Big Hat Days/Easter combination celebration

Skateboard Park and Tidepools

Today we went to Costco, where Adam treated us to lunch, then to the Skateboard Park, Tidepools, and Skateboard Park again. Adam had a great time! Thanks for the lunch, Adam!

A Visit To Mission San Juan Capistrano

Today Shelly, Adam and I visited nearby Mission San Juan Capistrano. Adam is studying a little bit of California History in School so he was interested most of the time.

Dinner in HB

Tonight I met Denny, Kwis, Mat, and Scot in Huntington Beach. We had a fabulous dinner at El Ranchito, and then took a walk and watched the sunset from the HB Pier. Big Kris was there too but she left before my camera came out. A Very nice evening! Thanks to you all!

Death Valley Trip

I spent a couple of days in Death Valley. I hadn't been there in about 9 years. There is more of a Disneyland feel now that it has been a National Park since 1994 thanks to Slick Willie. I preferred the rough and ready, devil may care, you're on your own wild west atmosphere it had when it was Death Valley National Monument. But that's just my opinion. As always take it with a grain of sodium chloride.
